The International Networking of Federal Scientific Institutions (FSIs) call for proposals to develop the FSIs expertise and offer a framework for structured cooperation with target countries.
This call is made to the FSIs. It is about securing FSI cooperation with universities and research institutions in the non-profit sector in the target countries and Belgium. The funding cannot be granted for research purposes. Any activity proposed must be a step towards structured cooperation between the relevant institutions.
The following countries can participate in the call:
- The BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa);
- Vietnam;
- The countries of Africa.
The guideline budget for the call is €250 000. Funding of up to €40 000 may be requested from BELSPO for each proposal.
To qualify for funding in the framework of this call a project must have a duration of no more than 3 years. It must start around October 2015.
The final date for submission is 28 April 2015 at 15.00
